The Agnew Shield is on this Sunday 30th August 2020

The Agnew Shield is contested between Gympie, Bundaberg and Fraser/Burnett.  The day is held in honour of Bill Agnew who was a great Squash Ambassador from Bundaberg Squash Club.  Many years ago Bill instigated a yearly competition to bring the three regions together for a social day.  The tradition has continued as a tribute and thanks for all the time and effort Bill gave to squash on many different levels.

This year it is Gympie's turn to host the event and the date is set for this Sunday 30th August, starting at 10am.  Each of the three areas send 6 males & 6 females to compete.

Players and Supporters (most welcome) always enjoy the day, on a Competitive, Social and Tourist level.  Many of you may not have seen the new Victory Squash Centre at 41 Browns Road Gympie.  What a great idea for a drive through the country, watch a bit of squash, check out the new courts & then the town, & do whatever else might take your fancy.
